Thomas E. Gleitsman

Tom is co-owner of Exron Capital and was previously founder, CEO, and co-owner of Texor Petroleum Company from 1974 to 2008. Texor, which was the largest independent motor fuel distributor in the state of Illinois, was sold in 2008 to World Fuel Services Corporation, a Fortune 100 company. Tom, a lifelong entrepreneur, started his business in 1969 as a home delivery milk distributor while he was completing his senior year of high school. With Tom’s strong ability to identify business opportunities and choose the proper people to help him grow and thrive, his business ultimately became Texor Petroleum Company. Over the years Tom has also mentored and assisted many individuals in the early stages of their own business endeavors.

All of Tom’s business education came from his own experiences as a business owner since his graduation from high school. By collaborating with many entrepreneurs like himself, Tom educated himself on the value of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. Tom is currently a trustee for the Ozanam Foundation, which supports Ozanam Home for Boys and Girls in Kansas City, Missouri. Besides spending time with his family, Tom is an avid motorsports enthusiast and has been a team owner in both the amateur and professional level.
