The two principals of Exron founded, owned and operated the largest independent motor fuel distributor in Illinois.  The company distributed motor fuel to several hundred retail fuel station operators, commercial, industrial and government/municipal customers.  The company also owned and operated a chain of retail motor fuel convenience store and car wash locations.  Exron achieved significant scale through both organic growth and successful integration of several acquired privately held businesses.  Exron’s motor fuel distribution and retail motor fuel station/c-store and car wash businesses were acquired via asset sale by a NYSE listed company in 2008.  Exron remains well connected to stakeholders in the petroleum, oil and gas industries throughout the Midwest and across the country.
